Doodles for Newfoundland

Goldendoodles for Newfoundland Families

Goldendoodles and Newfoundland: A Perfect Match

Newfoundland is an ideal location for Goldendoodles due to its unique climate and environment, which aligns perfectly with the breed's characteristics. Goldendoodles are known for their thick, often wavy or curly coats, inherited from their Poodle lineage, making them well-suited for Newfoundland's colder weather and long winters. Their coats provide excellent insulation against the wind, rain, and snow, allowing them to thrive in outdoor conditions.

Newfoundland's vast landscapes and natural beauty offer Goldendoodles plenty of opportunities for exercise and adventure, whether through hiking, running, or playing in open spaces. Goldendoodles are active dogs who enjoy outdoor activities, making them perfect companions for those who explore the island’s scenic trails, beaches, and rugged terrains.

Furthermore, Goldendoodles are adaptable and social dogs, making them great for Newfoundland’s family-oriented communities. They thrive in both busy and relaxed environments, fitting in well with households of all sizes. Their low-shedding, hypoallergenic coats are also a plus for indoor living during the cold months, providing comfort without excess fur.

Overall, Goldendoodles’ versatile nature and their ability to handle Newfoundland’s weather and lifestyle make them an excellent fit for the province.

From Our Kennel To Your Home: Goldendoodle Transport

Puppies are picked up from the kennel in Antigonish and are transported to Newfoundland the following day via a truck driver. The driver travels from Port aux Basques to St. John’s, and arrangements can be made to meet families at convenient locations along the route.

During transport, puppies remain safely inside the vehicle with the driver to ensure their comfort and well-being. Upon arrival, the driver will provide the new owners with a complete set of important documents. This includes health records, veterinary certificates, a receipt of sale, and a copy of the 2-year health guarantee. Additionally, families will receive an information packet with helpful tips and guidance on raising their new puppy.
